This new media art installation transforms human movement into a silent poetry of endless notes. When the experiencer enters the detective field, his body trajectory is instantly transformed into dynamic notes, mapping out a growing visual score on the screen. When the ten-second improvisation of the body ends, the installation solidifies this invisible dance into a physical score - the thermal printer spits out a musical record and a poetic archive of body movement.
In terms of technical implementation: the pedal is connected to the Arduino microcontroller as a human-controlled switch, and the body coordinate data is converted into a note visual through P5js programming; when the countdown returns to zero, the thermal printer receives the score data through serial communication, and converts the digital trace into a collectible physical existence.
The work explores the subtle tension between the fleeting interactive experience and material retention in the digital age. When participants witness their own movement trajectory being instantly encoded into artistic symbols, the body becomes a decoder connecting virtuality and reality. The installation makes each participant both a conductor and an instrument itself through a musical analysis of the movement pattern.
