This 4-channel sound installation interrogates sound’s capacity to spatialize memory through methodological rigor in sonic composition and stream-of-consciousness poetics. Grounded in Pauline Oliveros’ Deep Listening practice, the work employs precise stereo spatialization to dissect the interplay between environmental acoustics, fragmented recollection, and emergent narrative forms.
By synthesizing binaural field recordings with experimental text-sound hybrids rooted in meditative writing, it constructs an immersive auditory experience. This systematic framework merges psychoacoustic precision with Taoist void-substance dynamics, situating consciousness itself as a reverberant medium where “external” soundscapes and “internal” linguistic flows collapse distinctions between documentation and invention.
